Miley Cyrus hates Alice in Wonderland
April 14, 2009, 2:22 AM by ROB

In reference to Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Miley Cyrus exclaims:
| It's such a perverted movie... It's all about Ecstasy. I swear! Look it up online. |
Lewis Carroll was an opium junkie, Miley. Not an Ecstasy user.
BTW, Ecstasy wasn't even invented until 1912... Lewis Carroll (author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) passed in 1898. Unless he was a time traveler, someone needs to do her homework. Even Wikipedia knows better.

Please try again at a later time or right now...
Why not just say "please try again?"

Oh, how I love thee, Post It notes. I arrange you so artfully in rows to form flow charts and other organized lists of information as I develop a kick-ass survey platform for the new Connective Insights project.
What is it, you ask? Top secret! Tee hee!

iPhone Ramblings
March 20, 2009, 2:19 AM by ROB

iPhone OS 3.0 is on the way this summer, but what about a new iPhone? The rumor mill has been grinding away about a new handset this summer (which would be on track with Apple's releases thus far), but I've seen neither hide nor hair of any official news coming out of Cupertino.
What I'm excited about, though, is this little announcement from the iPhone Dev-Team:
| And for those wondering, yes the 3.0 OS is jailbreakable on all devices. |
Hooray!
What puzzles me is the recent announcement of $600 unlocked iPhone handsets coming soon. The device is still locked to AT&T (unless, of course, you unlock, you naughty dog), so there is little benefit for the release... I mean, honestly. The economy has gone to hell... Why pay for a $600 phone? Granted, it's better than blowing nearly two grand on a two-year contract...

Interwebs still dead, blogger frustrated
February 28, 2009, 3:35 AM by ROB

I want to update the site so I can get the new TQtv functionality finished but you have to be connected locally to the WFU network. I can't do that when the network in our house is not working and my 3G connection, sufficed to say, is not a "local" connection.
What ever shall I do?! Sleep on it and wait until morning. Good night, world.

ZOMGZ! No Internet!
February 27, 2009, 6:20 PM by ROB
These are dark times, my friend. I write to you from the bowels of WFU, where connectivity issues currently plague the typically-uber-wired campus. Students everywhere are fearing for their lives as they are unsure of how to manage their time without the always-on access to Facebook, CollegeACB, and even email.
How is this reporter spreading the news? Praise be the Jailbroken iPhone, distinctly warm to the touch as it transfers data furiously between my laptop and the 3G antenna just a quarter mile away...
Dark times indeed...
